FavourEconomy Volume 1. 2015 - 2016

In this inaugural 2015 - 2016 edition of FavourEconomy, womxn* were invited to share their experiences in the form of a recorded audio file. The definition of an ‘audio favour’ was intentionally broad and non-prescriptive, to allow participants creative freedom in the construction of their favours. As there was not a previous volume to listen to before sharing an audio favour to it, these contributors have initially defined what an audio favour can sound like and have shaped the content and scope of the first volume of FavourEconomy - boldly setting the stage for what this project is and can be.

* Terms womxn and femxle are used to enable identity to move beyond being defined in relation to a male norm, while also being inclusive of transgender and non binary identities.

The official public launch of FavourEconomy Volume 1. 2015 - 2016 was held at Frontyard Projects, 228 Illawarra road Marrickville Sydney, Australia on Thursday 30 June 2016.
